How to Connect iPhone to Apple CarPlay in Your Kia Sorento

How to Connect iPhone to Your Kia Sorento Using Bluetooth Pairing
If you’re not a fan of wired connections and/or just want audio to be carried over from your iPhone, it couldn’t be easier. Follow the brief list of steps below to enjoy wireless phone and audio streaming in your recent model-year Kia Sorento!- Activate Bluetooth on your iPhone by clicking Settings (gear icon) and then Bluetooth and making sure the switch is green.
- Press either the Call button (on your steering wheel) or the Phone button your radio in your Kia Sorento.
- Go back to your iPhone and scan the list of Bluetooth devices that have appeared. Find your Kia Sorento (should display as Kia Motors) and tap it.
- Your Kia Sorento will show a Bluetooth password, enter it on your iPhone and press OK.
- Give your Kia Sorento permission to download your iPhone contacts for easy dialing with voice controls.
- Choose whether you want this process to be automated when it asks you whether to “automatically connect” in your Kia Sorento.
