If you are exploring Indiana in your new 2023 Kia Stinger GT2 and want to take part in some fun fall activities with your family or friends, here are three ideas of places to visit within driving distance from downtown Muncie, IN.

1. Take a Tour Around Jacob’s Family Orchard

Established in 2002 by a local family of harvesters and nature lovers, Jacobs’ Family Orchard is one of the go-to destinations for numerous families and groups of friends from Muncie, Indianapolis, and all over Indiana. Offering visitors fun activities and guided tours, this place is particularly popular during the fall months, when most seasonal activities take place and the autumn foliage is at its peak.

Jacobs’ Family Orchard is located just 15 miles south of the Muncie city center and can be reached in about 20 minutes by car via Walnut Street and Route IN-3. Between August and October, this place offers a farm-themed play area for kids, a sunflower trail, hayrides, pumpkin harvesting patches, and educational activities. Entrance fees are $4 for children and $2 for adults.

2. Go for a Hayride and Harvest Some Pumpkins at Westwind Farm and Fiber

Offering plenty of family-friendly activities throughout the fall season, Westwind Farm and Fiber is another popular spot to spend some time outdoors and have some fun with your loved ones. This family-owned farm is located less than 10 miles west of the Muncie city center, making it possible to reach it in a little over 15 minutes via route IN-32.

Once you make your way to this sprawling complex, head to the main entrance to get your tickets. The $8 admission price includes a hayride and a pumpkin for you to take home, carve a spooky Jack-o-lantern, or bake a delicious pie. Some of the activities offered at this farm throughout the months of September and October include guided tours around a historic barn, a petting zoo, barrel rides, and yard games.

3. Navigate Around a Corn Maze at Landess Farm
