We’ll admit that you probably don’t think “best pizza” when you think of Muncie, IN. But maybe we can change your mind. We have some really awesome places serving outstanding pies. Skip the run-of-the-mill delivery places and try one of these, instead.

Greek’s Pizzeria

This is a beloved local institution, and while they have a lot of Greek food choices, you’ll also quickly discover their pizza is the best in the area. You definitely want to try the Greek’s Special pizza, and the pepperoni and feta pizza is a must-try, too.

The cheese bread is the perfect mix of garlicky and soft, and the calzones are also great. If you want a salad, this place doesn’t make them as an afterthought. They are delicious and thoughtfully designed.

Pizza King

You expect a lot with a name like this, and we think they just about live up to it. We know people who have moved away from Muncie and made PIzza King their first stop when they come back for a visit.

Sitting outside is a nice thing to do here: enjoy a view of the river while you wait for your pie. The pizzas are hot and the wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Try the Royal Feast pizza for a true taste of Muncie.

Osteria 32

If you want a really authentic Italian experience, try Osteria 32. While their wine bar is Italian all the way, their deep-dish, Chicago-style pizza will take your breath away. This isn’t a place for the kids: gather your friends who are over 21, choose a designated driver, and make a night of it. Just remember to drink responsibly.

Their offerings change regularly, so we can’t tell you exactly what pizzas will be on the menu the night you give it try, but we can guarantee you won’t be disappointed with the authentic ingredients or the relaxing atmosphere.

625 Taphouse

This is a laid-back place that is perfect for a fast lunch. The beer and food are good, and if you’re looking for a side to go with your pizza that you can claim is a “healthy vegetable,” be sure to try the fried green beans with dipping sauce.

The breadsticks are also great. The pizza is exactly what you want for taking home, really.

Cousin Vinny’s Pizza

This isn’t the most sophisticated place you’ll ever visit, but sometimes you just don’t want a fancy, sophisticated pizza. Sometimes you just want a pizza, but you don’t want some chain nonsense. That’s when you need to try Vinny’s.

Their pizza is made from scratch and has a perfect, chewy crust. We love the Polynesian, but the America’s Favorite is also a classic, and The Boss is one that sometimes you find yourself just craving. If you’re not going for pizza, their hoagies are 8 inches long and will satisfy even the biggest appetite.

When you’re in Muncie, give one of our pizza joints a try. Then come by Kia of Muncie and see about getting a new ride.
